THE BRIEF
Lollapalooza was launching in India for the first time and needed a film worthy of the festival's global reputation. One that created genuine excitement, drove early ticket sales, and made the Indian edition feel like it belonged here rather than an imported export.
WHAT WE DID
We created the official launch film blending animation and live action. Iconic Lollapalooza characters from the international brand book navigated Mumbai's most recognisable landmarks and made them their own. We also designed characters specific to the Indian edition. The entire film was produced in eight days from brief to delivery.
THE OUTCOME
The launch film generated 155,000 organic views. The early bird ticket sale caused the promoter's website to crash due to demand. The film received direct appreciation from Perry Farrell, founder of Lollapalooza.
