THE BRIEF
Sutapa is an abstract artist who splits her time between New Delhi, Boston and London. Her work is striking, her reputation among collectors strong, and her Instagram had a few hundred followers and had not been updated consistently in months. She wanted to grow her audience, increase engagement, and generate more leads for commissions. All without managing social media herself.
WHAT WE DID
We audited her Instagram, website, and the broader landscape of how artists build audiences online. From that we built a content strategy specific to her: what to show, how often, what stories to tell alongside the work, and how to make the feed feel as considered as the paintings. Content buckets covered finished works, studio process, the thinking behind specific pieces, and the artist herself. We are currently rebuilding her website and setting up an Instagram Shop to reduce friction between discovery and purchase.
THE OUTCOME
Instagram engagement increased by 47%. Follower count doubled within two months. Commission enquiries increased by 25%.
